Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Aspen, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; and transportation facility.
Reference Number 0000415094 This airfield maintenance and interim Elk Lot improvements project at the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport includes the following: _ Runway 15-33 - pavement maintenance and partial pavement rehabilitation _ Deicing Apron - trench drain repairs _ Elk Lot (Airport Long-Term Parking Lot) Improvements - pavement and curb improvements for revised entrance. All stated work falls under two bid schedule (Schedule I - Airport Maintenance 2026 and Schedule II - Elk Lot Improvements) and are locally funded. The runway maintenance and pavement repairs include limited partial pavement rehabilitation (3-inch depth). New runway surfaces will be grooved. Rubber removal, crack sealing, and pavement marking included. Trench drain repairs located on the Deicing Apron are included. Three sections on trench drain to be reconstructed in varying lengths, 2-foot, 4-foot, and 16-foot. The Elk Lot (Airport Long-Term Parking Lot) Improvements include pavement and curb improvements for a revised entrance plan. The work wil also include pavement markings and the electrical work for a gate relocation. Gate equipment removal/installation to be performed by others. The total asphalt quantity for the Airfield Maintenance and Interim Elk Lot Improvements 2026 project is approximately 1055 tons (approximately 755 tons on the airfield, and approximately 300 in the Elk Lot). The project is divided into two phases of work. Pitkin County is seeking proposals for airfield maintenance/pavement rehabilitation and Interim Elk Lot improvements at the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE). This project will be funded in-part or in-full by the FAA, and it is expected that all proposers acknowledge that all aspects of this project will be performed in compliance with Federal, Local, and/or State regulations, laws, ordinances, and/or public health orders. Prime contractors and major sub-contractors are strongly urged to attend the voluntary Pre-Bid conference. Attendees will have the option to attend either in-person or virtually. Please submit your RSVP to Procurement@PitkinCounty.com with a planned attendee list, including name and email of each attendee, no later than 24-hours prior to the scheduled event and indicate whether you plan to attend in-person or virtually in order to receive video conferencing credentials. For those attending in person, the Pre-Bid conference will be held at the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport Operations Center Conference Room at 1001 Owl Creek Rd., Aspen, CO 81611. Immediately following the meeting, a tour of the project site will be conducted.
