Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The project consists of the removal and replacement of exterior doors within an elderly housing complex at Oxford Place (667-3) in West Springfield, Massachusetts. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) must be submitted online. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. Bids must be submitted electronically; hard copy bids will not be accepted. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in Doors and Windows and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit not less than five percent of the greatest possible bid amount, made payable to the West Springfield Housing Authority. General bidders must agree to contract with certified minority, women, and veteran-owned business enterprises to meet minimum participation benchmarks of 8% MBE, 5% WBE, and 3% VBE. Workforce participation benchmarks are set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities. Contract Documents are available for review and shall be submitted online. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 03/25/2026 at 3:00PM EDT for general bids.
