Renovation of a theater / auditorium in La Porte, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
** As of 3/24/26 - REBID UPDATE: Project will REBID on 4/14/26 with no changes to the bid documents. ** Work to be performed shall include furnishing all labor, equipment and materials for the replacement of an existing elevator at the Civic Auditorium at 1001 Ridge St, La Porte, IN 46350, and all other work shown and specified in the Contract Documents. Bids must be on the Bid Form contained in the Specifications. Each bidder must also complete a Form 96 (as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts); an executed non-collusion affidavit; signed copies of addenda (if issued); completely executed Affidavits of Compliance; and satisfactory bid security as set forth in the Contract Documents. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid. All work under this Contract is subject to the Prevailing Wage Rates established for the project as well as the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Federal Labor Standards Provisions, copies of which will be included in the Specifications. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept a full or partial award of the bid, which, in its judgment, will be in the best interests of the City of La Porte.
