Renovation of a mixed-use development in Montgomery, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
The project includes minor demolition, cutting and patching, finish painting to match existing surfaces, and furnishing and installing new audio, video, and lighting systems for the Montgomery Area Jr/Sr High School Auditorium. Bids must be submitted in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Anthony H. Visco, Jr., Architects. Contractors are to submit two sealed copies of their bid. The contract will cover the construction of the auditorium audio, video, and lighting system. This is a Prevailing Wage project under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates. Bidders must comply with all requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates Act and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act. Successful bidders must enter into an agreement as set forth in the contract documents and provide evidence of required insurance coverage. A Performance and Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract charge, and a Maintenance Bond for material and workmanship defects for the year following project acceptance are required. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check of at least 10 percent of the bid price must be provided. Bid documents are available from the Architect's office and require a signed Electronic Document Release form for access. Only bona fide prime contract bidders may secure bid documents. Bids must be submitted on the provided bid form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, or negotiate contract amounts.
