The work consists of removal of existing entry doors and storm doors, and provision of new entry doors, storm doors, and miscellaneous other work items depicted and described in the Contract Documents, complete and ready for use and in compliance with the latest codes and regulations. The project is funded by the Capital Fund Program and is located at Shenandoah Family Housing PA-16-8. The work is subject to the Davis Bacon Federal Prevailing Wage Rate regulations. Bidders must submit sealed bids, including a non-refundable service fee for digital bidding documents, a 10% bid security, and a Section 3 Plan. The successful bidder is required to provide Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and a one-year Maintenance Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. All work must comply with Section 3 (24 CFR Part 135), Equal Opportunity requirements, and the Build America, Buy America Act. The Schuylkill County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities or informalities, and consider bidder competency and responsibility in awarding the contract.
