Replacement of existing distribution water main for Charter Township of Oscoda along W. River Road from Mill Street to Lake Street, E. Michigan Avenue from US-23 to Beach Parking Lot, East River Road from US-23 to Lake Street, E. Dwight Avenue from US-23 to Canada Street, E. Park Street from US-23 to Canada Street, Canada Street from E. Park Street to East River Road, and Beach Parking Lot from East River Road to E. Michigan Avenue; as well as replacement of existing fire hydrants along Lake Street from E. Division Street to E. Michigan Avenue. All homes within the scope will be provided with a water service from the water main to the right-of-way. Any lead or galvanized lines discovered during construction will be replaced into the building per lead and copper rules. Only one street will be allowed to be under construction at a time. Principal items of work include but are not limited to: 3,700 Ft Water Main, 8 inch; 2,800 Ft Water Main, 10 inch; 400 Ft Water Main, HDPE, 10 inch, Directionally Bored; 9,000 Syd Pavement Repair. Bidding Documents must be obtained from ROWE Professional Services Company. Bid security is required. Owner's and Contractor's Protective (OCP) Liability Insurance and DBE good faith efforts are required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal.
