Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Holliston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Town of Holliston is seeking sealed bids for the construction of a multi-functional recreational space. The project includes a basketball court, lawn sports areas, a walking loop track, and a pavilion for shaded seating. Contractors are invited to submit sealed bids. Construction plans and specifications are available at the Select Board office in Holliston Town Hall or via email from James Keast. A site walk-through is highly encouraged and scheduled at 100 Linden Street in Holliston. The Town of Holliston reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the bid in a manner deemed to be in the interests of the Town of Holliston. Any prospective contractor (bidder) requesting an interpretation of existing specifications of terms and conditions must do so in writing by 1 PM Friday March 20, 2026 addressed to James Keast, 703 Washington Street, Holliston, MA 01746 or via email to at: keastj@holliston.k12.ma.us General Description of Project Provide a general description of the nature of your construction activities, including the age or dates of past renovations for structures that are undergoing demolition: The Project includes construction of a basketball court, stone dust walking and sprinting paths, long jump pit, and other associated site amenities including four new parking spaces and a repaved driveway at Adams Middle School (323 Woodland Street). The Project also includes the milling and repaving of the existing asphalt top course for portions of the driveway and parking lot, as well as the replacement of damaged concrete sidewalks, at Placentino/Miller Schools (235 Woodland Street). The estimated construction cost is approximately $1,000,000.
