Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurances and services for demolition work to remove the existing waste water treatment plant adjacent to the existing Chilled water TES site. Bidders must be present at the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk in their entirety to be eligible to bid as prime contractors. The successful bidder will be required to have a current and active California A - General Engineering Contractor's license. Bidders and their subcontractors must comply with equal employment opportunity, nondiscrimination requirements, prevailing wage laws, and registration with the Department of Industrial Relations. The awarded contractor shall make best efforts to provide qualified small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) with maximum opportunity to participate. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, and all persons providing construction services and/or labor must be paid no less than the UC Fair Wage and comply with all applicable working condition requirements.
