For furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and performing all work necessary for roofing improvements on Screen and UV Buildings at the Taylor Creek WWTP per detailed specifications Small Business Enterprises, including those registered with the City of Cincinnati Office of Contract Compliance Small Business Enterprise Program, are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Project Identification: Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati Roof Repair Project. Scope entails work at 1 MSDGC Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP). 1. Project Location: a. Taylor Creek (TC) WWTP - 6975 E Miami River Rd, Cincinnati OH 45002 B. Roof replacement work to; TC Buildings 3 & 4; consists of the following general scope of work as applicable to each specific roof area: 1. Remove existing roofing membrane and insulation to deck substrate and properly dispose. 2. Remove existing baseflashing and sheet metal flashings to substrate and properly dispose. 3. Install vapor barrier to concrete deck. 4. Install insulation and cover board in insulation adhesive. Taper where required to provide positive drainage. 5. Install two ply roof system in cold adhesive. 6. Flash all walls and curbs with new 2 ply flashing. 7. Fabricate and install new stainless steel sheet metal counterflashings, pitch pockets, sleeve flashings, storm collars, unit/curb bib flashings where unable to lift. 8. Reuse sheet metal coping where in good condition or where color match to existing building cladding needs to be maintained. Clean and seal coping joints. 9. Fabricate and install new water table under existing building cladding. 10. Flash drains and plumbing vents with new lead flashings. 11. Replace any missing, broken or plastic drain components above the roof deck. PVC piping is excluded. 12. Comply with manufacturer standard flashing detail requirements. 13. Provide new walkpads to match existing prior layout. Additionally, where not present install from roof hatch to and completely around serviceable units. 14. Install new slip sheet and treated wood blocking under gas lines/conduits. 15. Install new permanent non-penetrating guardrail system with self-closing gate at roof hatch on building 3. 16. Provide and install three (3) fall protection cages for building 3 skylights. 17. Provide daily IIBEC Accredited Registered Roof Observer inspections. 18. 20 Year total roof system watertight warranty.
