In general, the work consists of the phased modification of three hydraulic passenger elevators distributed across two buildings on the UW-Platteville campus. The modification scope includes new controls, hydraulic pumping units, door operators, and fixtures. The three elevators and their primary scopes are as follows: - (Pioneer) Student Center - Duplex - Phase 1 / Elev 1: 2 stop hydraulic elevator with front openings only, 3,500 lbs, 100 fpm. - Phase 2 / Elev 2: 3 stop hydraulic elevator with 2 front openings, 3 rear openings, 3,500 lbs, 100 fpm. - Scope includes but is not limited to: new microprocessor controls, new door operator equipment, new hydraulic pumping unit, new signal fixtures, new LED cab lighting, painting of elevator pit floor and elevator machine room floor, machine room and pit lighting, and additional fire alarm detection devices to an existing system. - Ullsvik Hall: - Phase 3 / Elev 3: 3 stop hydraulic elevator with front openings only, 3,500 lbs, 150 fpm. - Scope includes but is not limited to: new microprocessor controls, new door operator equipment, new hydraulic pumping unit, new signal fixtures, new car enclosure finishes, and painting of elevator pit floor.
