Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Binghamton, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of the Trench Drain Repair project for the State University of New York at Binghamton. All work on this contract must be completed within 90 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Bidding and contract documents may be examined at certain designated locations free of charge or purchased/downloaded from the specified website. Prospective bidders must purchase a bid set from the designated website to be considered a responsible bidder. Bids must be submitted in duplicate and include security in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid. Purchasers must pay a $49.00 deposit, which is nonrefundable for deposits less than $50.00, except for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses, for which the deposit is waived. All bidders must comply with restrictions on communications under State Finance Law _139-j and _139-k, and with the State's policies to encourage participation by minority business enterprises, subcontractors, and suppliers. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Instructions to bidders and additional requirements include: - Submission in duplicate according to instructions in the Information for Bidders. - Bid security of not less than five percent of the total bid amount. - Bidders must use the designated website for official notifications, addenda, and bid documents. - Deposits and purchasing procedures as outlined above. - Adherence to all applicable state procurement laws and policies. - Encouragement of minority, women, and service disabled veteran business participation.
