Site work and new construction of a power facility in Pinole, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,000-square-foot, two-story above grade power facility; and 6,000-square-foot, one-story above grade power facility.
The selected proposer will be responsible for the installation of two battery energy storage systems (BESS) at the Pinole Youth Center and the Tiny Tots/Swim Center. The scope of services includes: 1. Conducting site assessments at both locations to gather necessary data for design, including PV system specifications and condition, electrical panel capacity, operational needs, backup needs, and optimal BESS installation locations. 2. Recommending BABA-compliant options and system sizing for each site, considering battery technology, safety, efficiency, maintenance, and smart management capability. Minimum system sizes are 100 kWh for the Youth Center and 200 kWh for the Tiny Tots/Swim Center. Battery dispatch from 4 pm to 9 pm is required. 3. Creating complete designs for each site, including electrical engineering, solar and grid integration, compatibility checks, and compliance with all relevant regulations. 4. Obtaining all necessary permits and providing a detailed scope of work for NEPA clearance before installation can begin. 5. Completing BESS installations at both sites in full compliance with state, local, and federal regulations, and providing required documentation and photos of completed installations. 6. Requesting permission to operate from PG&E for both sites. 7. Managing the project, including subcontractor oversight, compliance tracking, documentation, labor tracking, and regular progress reporting. Instructions to bidders include providing a cover letter, company profile, relevant experience, staffing, detailed approach, project schedule, subvendor information if applicable, and a cost proposal using a specific budget format. Bidders must also submit references, required compliance statements and disclosures, and acknowledge all federal requirements. Only completed and compliant proposals will be considered.
