The Sullivan County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for an Emergency Watershed Protection Project for stream stabilization at 899 Nordmont Road, Muncy Valley, PA 17758. The contractor must provide all equipment, labor, materials, and supplies necessary to complete the work. NRCS and/or the Sullivan County Conservation District shall provide quality assurance inspection, and all materials must be approved prior to use. All in-stream work must be completed according to in-stream restrictions on Muncy Creek, between June 1 and September 30, 2026, unless a variance from the PA Fish and Boat Commission is obtained. Work under this contract must be completed within 14 days upon delivery of the Notice-To-Proceed. Each bidder is required to bid on the total project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount and a payment bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount within ten business days after the contract is awarded. The project is subject to PA Prevailing Wages Project Rates. Funding is provided through the NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection Program and the Department of Environmental Protection. The Sullivan County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts.
