The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvements for Cairo High School Athletic Facility Expansion as shown on the construction drawings. In general, the construction includes approximately 1,050 linear feet of 8-inch pipe bursting, 17 vertical feet of manhole rehabilitation, and all associated measures for the complete project. The time allotted for completion is 60 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion, with all work complete and ready for contract close-out within 74 consecutive calendar days. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications, and the work will be awarded in one contract. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Any contractor submitting a bid must be a licensed Utility Contractor by the State of Georgia, with the license number written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless the license number is clearly shown. Prequalification may be required, including providing detailed evidence such as financial data, bonding capacity, previous experience, and present commitments upon request.
