The work will consist of restoration of the exterior portion of the Wyomissing Fire Department firehouse located at 1259 Penn Ave, Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: washing of exterior façade, replacing damaged brick, rout out and repoint mortar joints, repair water damaged elements and install stainless steel drips, covering of exposed roof termination bar, treat window and door lintels, and application of water repellant to the exterior. Bidders must conform to the General Conditions and detailed Specifications in the bid package. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashiers Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Wyomissing. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractors Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Borough of Wyomissing reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough. The Borough of Wyomissing also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received. Bids may be publicly awarded on April 7, 2026 at 7:00pm (local time) at the Borough of Wyomissing at 22 Reading Blvd Wyomissing, PA 19610. Only questions submitted online.
