Renovation of a fire / police facility in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of May 22, 2026, the project was awarded to Premier Building Restoration, with an awarded amount of $214,468.67. The work will consist of restoration of the exterior portion of the Wyomissing Fire Department firehouse located at 1259 Penn Ave, Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: washing of exterior façade, replacing damaged brick, rout out and repoint mortar joints, repair water damaged elements and install stainless steel drips, covering of exposed roof termination bar, treat window and door lintels, and application of water repellant to the exterior. Bidders must conform to the General Conditions and detailed Specifications in the bid package. Only questions submitted online via PennBid shall be considered. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashiers Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractors Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Borough of Wyomissing reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough. The Borough of Wyomissing also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received. Questions Due Date: Apr 1st 2026, 12:00 PM EDT
