Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a 3,233-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
Proposals will be received for the 2026 50/50 Sidewalk Repairs Project, which consists of replacing 3,233.25 SF of existing sidewalk, 293 SF of driveway approaches, and 8 roof leaders at specified residential locations throughout the Borough. Bidders must conform to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as the estimated construction costs exceed $25,000. Bidders are also required to adhere to the General Conditions and detailed Specifications referenced in the bid package. The bid must include a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, payable to Wyomissing Borough. Additionally, a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement are required. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or accept any portion of any bid, waiving defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities, and to award Contracts as deemed best for the Borough.
