This project includes the relocation of an electrical box and downspout, removal of the concrete sidewalk, proof rolling or compaction testing of the parking area subgrade, installation of a new concrete sidewalk and subbase, construction of a new concrete stoop with frost walls, creation of a new concrete ADA parking area with subbase, installation of new 8-inch compacted PennDOT 2A coarse aggregate, provision of a new Nyloplast area drain and associated piping, new cleanout, new ADA paint markings and signage, and a new ADA entrance door with ADA signage. Bidders must request copies of the specifications and submission documents from the Redevelopment Authority. Bidders are required to provide insurance information, and a Bid Guarantee equal to 10% of the Base Bid must be included with the submission. The project is funded through federal financial assistance and is subject to Davis-Bacon Act and Related Acts provisions requiring the payment of prevailing wages and fringe benefits. The McKean County Redevelopment Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the Bid Opening. Minority and Women Business Enterprises and Section 3 firms are encouraged to participate. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope with the identification "Redevelopment Bid #2026-002R" written on the outside.
