Question Deadline 05/19/2026 Bidders or Sub-bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request to the Architect at least seven days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. The project entails a collection of renovation upgrades to the existing school interior. Scope of work includes toilet room renovations to improve ADA accessibility. Prioritization of Student and Public toilet rooms is the project's focus as the project budget allows. Additional renovation scope includes the replacement of all classroom casework, replacement of all plumbing fixtures in toilet rooms and classrooms, replacement of selected doors as identified by the school, and the complete replacement of existing storefront windows/window treatments with new and improved exterior windows/window treatments. MEP upgrades are included in the project scope. Replacement of all unit ventilators in the classrooms and selected offices are included. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for all prospective bidders, and attendance is a prerequisite for bidding. Sealed bids must clearly indicate the contract details and be addressed properly. Electronic versions of contract documents can be obtained from the designated architect's office for a specified non-refundable fee. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to one hundred percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
