Hanson Bridgett LLP, on behalf of the West County Wastewater District (WCW), is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a comprehensive Laboratory Evaluation and Ventilation Assessment for its Water Quality Resource and Recovery Plant (WQRRP). The services required include evaluation of the current laboratory layout, design, and ventilation system for compliance with applicable standards; assessment of laboratory environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and air balance) affecting analytical integrity; identification of health, safety, and operational deficiencies; and recommendation of upgrades or improvements to achieve compliance with recognized codes and to enhance laboratory efficiency and safety. Proposals must be submitted in compliance with all requirements, and failure to do so may result in disqualification. Submission of a proposal constitutes a firm offer to Hanson Bridgett for 180 days from the deadline, and indicates intent to be bound by the RFP unless exceptions are specifically stated. Proposers may need to review a prior mold assessment report, but must complete and sign a Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement to obtain it. Proposers are responsible for all costs associated with preparation and submission, and the contract may be awarded in whole or in part, or not at all, at Hanson Bridgett's discretion.
