Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
The work is generally defined as lime silo demolition. The work will consist of the demolition of a 12-foot diameter steel lime silo and surrounding structure located overtop of the sludge loading garage as identified in the project manual. All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract documents shall be submitted via PennBid. No questions will be accepted by phone, fax or direct e-mail. Online sealed bids for the construction will be received by the Lancaster Area Sewer Authority via the PennBid Program. Each bid must be accompanied by a scan of the bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check or bid bond (in the required form) for 10% of the bid total. The lowest responsible bidder shall submit the actual bid security to the authority within three business days after bid opening. The Lancaster Area Sewer Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any bid. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing via PennBids Questions tab. Interpretations, or clarifications to the Contract Documents, considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions, will be posted to PennBid and issued by Addenda. All Addenda will be posted within PennBid's "Documents" tab.
