Renovation of a military facility in Eielson AFB, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The work includes Architect-Engineer Title I (Design Phase) Services for the replacement of the upper digester compressors 1 and 2. Services include assessing existing compressors, piping, appurtenances, and associated devices; collecting and reviewing project data and records; evaluating alternatives; and developing design concepts and cost estimates. The contractor must attend and participate in design review meetings and produce intermediate submittals at the 65%, 95%, and 100% design stages, incorporating all government-requested revisions. All information gathered and developed will be used to prepare comprehensive drawings, schedules, specifications, and cost estimates covering all disciplines involved in the construction effort. The objective is to deliver a complete, biddable construction document package suitable for the extreme Arctic conditions at Eielson AFB. The final 100% design package must be delivered within 125 calendar days. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
