Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Eielson AFB, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a military facility; for site work for a military facility; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Construct a new permanent party dormitory facility to house 225 unaccompanied enlisted airmen. The project consists of a three-story facility constructed using slab-on-grade foundations and a steel frame structural system, with exterior walls composed of concrete masonry unit block veneer over metal studs and a standing seam metal roof installed over insulation and steel framing or joists. Work includes complete building construction with all required fire protection and detection systems, lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical power, plumbing, elevators, and all other components necessary to deliver a fully functional and occupiable facility. Interior spaces include 225 dormitory units, activity and common areas, communal kitchens, a dorm management office, public restrooms, laundry facilities, a theatre or meeting space, and mechanical and utility areas. Supporting site and utility work includes construction of approximately 200 additional parking spaces, extension and connection of steam, water, sewer, and electrical distribution systems, and associated landscaping to support the new facility. Construction must account for cold-region conditions and includes requirements for deep dynamic compaction, large utilidor systems accommodating multiple utilities, and acoustic installations comparable to hotels, apartments, or dormitory facilities. All work must comply with EM 385-1-1 safety requirements and applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
