Replace two fire pump controllers (FPCs), decommission and remove one legacy foam-releasing control panel, and install a new control panel for the preaction/wet fire protection system. Decommission and remove one High-Expansion Foam (HEF) tank and concentrate storage system. The existing HEF system is currently locked out from operation and must be removed and disposed of properly. Refer to the Scope of Work and supporting documents for the complete requirement description. The estimated order of magnitude for the project is between $350,000 and $500,000. The objective of this project is to replace two (2) fire pump controllers (FPCs), decommission and remove one ( 1) legacy foam-releasing control panel and install a new panel for the preaction/wet system. Decommission and remove one ( 1) High-Expansion Foam (HEF) tank and concentrate storage system. The existing HEF system is locked out from operation and must be removed and disposed of properly. For the foam-releasing control panel the contract must perform a pre-installation site survey to audit all existing field devices and size the new panel to support those devices. Most of the work is in Bldg. 1176 Mechanical/Utility Room (Room # 123 ). Additionally, the contractor must remove and terminate six (6) manual foam-releasing pull stations inside Hangar Bay of Bldg. 1176 Please forward all questions to 168th Mission Support Contracting Office no later than 10 September 2026, 12:00PM Alaska Standard Time.
