Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, parts, tools, supplies, equipment, disposal, travel, permits, fees, and incidentals required to renovate the interior and exterior of bathrooms for the California Department of Transportation. Bidders must be certified small businesses registered with the Department of General Services. Technical questions regarding this solicitation will be addressed in writing and/or at a mandatory site inspection to be held on March 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at 44023 Sierra Highway, Lancaster, CA 93534. Contractor shall remove approximately 800 square feet of composite floor tiles and replace with approximately 800 square feet of Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVF) of which shall be at least eight (8) millimeter (mm) thickness, a wear layer of at least 30 mil, and glue down. C. Contractor shall remove and replace approximately 190 linear feet (LF) of four-inch (4") baseboard. D. Women's Restroom Contractor shall: 1) Install approximately 80 square feet of ceramic floor tile. 2) Remove approximately 248 square feet of PVC sheeting from the walls and replace with ceramic tile. 3) Remove exciting fiberglass shower surround and replace in kind. 4) Remove and replace bathroom partitions (3'x 5') with door. 5) Remove and replace with new: toilet, sink, sink fixtures, mirror, and shower fixtures. E. Men's Restroom Contractor shall: 1) Install approximately 96 square feet of ceramic floor tile. 2) Remove approximately 358 square feet of PVC sheeting from the walls and replace with ceramic tile. 3) Remove exciting fiberglass shower surround and replace in kind. 4) Remove and replace bathroom partitions (3'x 5') with door and between urinal and sink (3'x20"). 5) Remove and replace with new: toilet, urinal, sink and fixtures, and mirror and shower fixtures. F. Contractor shall remove and replace approximately 22 four-foot (4') ceiling light fixtures, one (1) eight-foot (8') ceiling light fixture, and all corresponding LED bulbs. G. Contractor shall sand and re-stain six (6) interior doors. H. Contractor shall paint four (4) interior doors and trim: Semi-gloss paint shall be used. Color shall be preapproved by Caltrans Contract Manager. I. Contractor shall paint approximately 2,000 square feet of interior walls and ceilings: Contractor shall make repairs where necessary. Contractor shall use a prime coat for interior walls and ceilings that has an acrylic base vinyl and is a different color than original paint color that is sufficient to detect adequate coverage by the finish coats. Interior surfaces to be painted shall use a semi-gloss coating. Color shall be preapproved by Caltrans Contract Manager. J. Contractor shall remove and replace three (3) windows: Two (2) 22"x22" and one (1) 96"x35", standard dual-glazed aluminum or vinyl sliding (either vertical or horizontal) window (fits inside the existing frame).
