Renovation of an educational facility in Chico, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of all required labor, material, equipment, and services for the Re-Roofing of the Admin, Science, and IT Buildings at Chico High School for the Chico Unified School District in strict conformity with the Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents. To bid on this project, the bidder is required to have been prequalified by the District prior to submitting its bid. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided by the District and must conform and be responsive to all pertinent bid and contract documents, including the instructions to bidders. Bidders must possess an active and in-good-standing State of California Contractor License C-39 at the time of bid opening and throughout the term of the contract. Each bid must include bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price in the form of a bid bond, cash, cashier's check, or certified check. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. The successful bidder and subcontractors shall pay all workers not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and comply with all registration and qualification requirements. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. The contract shall be awarded, if at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. All prequalification questionnaires will be received until 2:00p.m., March 27, 2026, at the Facilities Office, located at 2455 Carmichael Drive, Chico, California 95928.
