Repairs and improvements are required for the Defense Logistics Agency's 80th Gym to correct damage caused by a sanitary sewer backup and restore safe, functional conditions. Work includes removing, cleaning, storing, and reinstalling all exercise equipment; disposing of the existing water fountain and black mats; removing VCT flooring and adhesive; repairing approximately 100 linear feet of concrete floor cracks; polishing and sealing roughly 725 square feet of concrete flooring; preparing and painting approximately 1,500 square feet of interior walls; removing and replacing cove base; caulking door frames and windows; and preparing and painting all interior doors and frames. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work and applicable specifications, with an expected 90-day period of performance following issuance of the Notice to Proceed. A site visit is required prior to submitting a quote, and access to the facility is governed by Defense Supply Center Richmond visitor and DBIDS enrollment procedures. Completion date shall be no later than 90 days after notice to proceed.
