Sealed proposals are requested for the 2025 Capital Road Resurfacing Program. Bidders must submit one original and four copies of their proposal form, which must be enclosed in a sealed envelope distinctly showing the name of the bidder and marked "2025 Capital Road Resurfacing Program." Each proposal must include a proposal guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or satisfactory bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total price bid, not to exceed $20,000, payable to the Township of Irvington. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory surety performance bond in the full amount of the contract or purchase order. Each proposal must be accompanied by a properly executed non-collusion affidavit. Proposals must be presented on the forms provided; bids not on the provided forms may be rejected. Appropriately checked literature must accompany each copy of the proposal form. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable laws, including those governing public works wages, equal employment opportunity, contractor registration, affirmative action, and disclosure of stockholder or partner ownership exceeding 10%.
