Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Irvington, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The scope of work includes roadway improvements to Yale Avenue, Mountainview Terrace, and Rutgers Street, including curb and sidewalk improvements, as well as all other work of any type or description necessary for the completion of the project, including roadway improvements not specifically described. All work must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Instructions to bidders require that bid packets be completed as designated in the contract documents, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name and project name, and addressed to the Municipal Clerk of the Township of Irvington. Bidders must include a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than 10% of the total bid price, not to exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds for the full project amount. Vendors currently suspended, debarred, or disqualified are excluded. The successful bidder must comply with statutory requirements including N.J.A.C. 17:27, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., Business Registrations, Prevailing Wage Act, Public Work Contractor Registration, Affirmative Action Requirements, and any other legal requirements applicable to the project. The township intends to award the project to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and requires bids to be irrevocable for sixty (60) calendar days after opening unless extended by contract documents. The contract approval is contingent upon a favorable eligibility determination by the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
