Work includes furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the Ronald Wilson Reagan High School ERV Replacement. Bids will be received for a single-prime, mechanical contractor and all proposals shall be lump sum. Bidders must use complete sets of Bidding Documents to prepare their bids. All contractors must have the proper license as required by state law. The bidder must identify the minority business participation it will use on the project, and forms for this are included in the Proposal Form in the bid documents. Failure to complete these forms is grounds for rejection of the bid. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Payment will be made based on ninety five percent (95%) of monthly estimates, with final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for a period of sixty (60) days. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Bidders are highly encouraged to obtain a minimum of 10% MWBE participation. Prime contractors may obtain electronic copies of the complete plans, specifications and contract documents from the office of the Engineer by emailing lindsey@cesenq.net. Questions should be directed to the Engineer. If the portion of the work to be executed by HUB certified/minority businesses as defined in GS143- 128.2(g) and 128.4(a),(b),(e) is equal to or greater than 10% of the bidders total contract price, then the bidder must complete this affidavit.
