The Town of Fort Erie is requesting the tender to repair extraneous flow, structural and operational defects at various locations in the Town of Fort Erie's wastewater service lateral collection system. The unit and lump sum prices bid shall include all costs to supply all labour, equipment and materials necessary to complete the specified work. Work under this contract will include, but not be limited to: reviewing the work site and all available background information to confirm the exact location and dimensions of all repairs; selecting appropriate repair materials and design of CIPP liners; rehabilitating the specified assets from the wastewater main to the building face or as close as reasonably possible; providing appropriate sewer bypassing or flow control measures for the duration of the work; providing appropriate traffic control measures for the duration of the work; flushing, cleaning and preparation of the assets for rehabilitation and inspection, and disposal of all removed materials; inspecting all assets, including documentation of all completed preparatory work and repairs, and supply of inspection records. All solicitation documents including specifications and drawings will be made available for download. In order to be eligible to submit a bid, respondents must register as a plan taker for this specific bid opportunity. As a condition of award, the awarded contractor must complete the town's Contractor Safety Program prior to the commencement of any work. Electronic bid submissions only will be accepted. All tenders must be accompanied by a Digital Agreement to Bond and a Digital Bid Bond in the amount of $100,000.00 payable to The Corporation of the Town of Fort Erie.
