The Berkshire Regional Group Purchasing Program (BRGPP), acting on behalf of its participating members, invites bids for joint cooperative purchases for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 for highway supplies and service categories, including Aggregates & Loam, Cold Patch, Calcium & Magnesium Chloride, Culvert Products, Guardrail Delivered, Guardrail Installed, Line Painting, Pavement Preservation Products, Chip Seal, Hot Mix Asphalt, Paving, Winter Rock Salt, Winter Sand, Pre-Treat Liquid and Treated Winter Salt, Gasoline, Diesel Fuel, Heating Oil, Liquid Propane, Catch Basin Cleaning & Line Jetting, Tree Work, and Street Sweeping. All bids for services must comply with prevailing wage rates according to Massachusetts General Laws, and a 5% bid deposit is required unless otherwise specified. Bidders must be pre-qualified by MassDOT for approved classes of work and estimated values. The awarding authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in total or in part, and minority and woman-owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids. All bids will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, or disability. Bids must be submitted through the online procurement portal. The Berkshire Regional Planning Commission (BRPC) administers the BRGPP on behalf of all 32 Berkshire County municipalities and other public sector entities within the county. Vendors may offer products and services based on location in Northern, Central, or Southern Berkshire County, or any combination of the three. The program aims to provide municipalities with the lowest prices available while relieving municipal staff from procurement compliance activities under Massachusetts laws.
