Striping Specifications: All pavement marking must comply with section 1048 of St. Louis County standard specifications. Striping removal and replacement will be coordinated around the microsurfacing contractor's schedule, generally with removal in early June and restriping in July or August. All other restriping must be completed by November 1st of the year of the contract. Locations and quantities are subject to change at the direction of Public Works. Materials required are acrylic waterborne pavement marking paint at 15 mils and Type 1 beads applied at a rate of 6-8 lbs/100ft2. The initial contract runs through completion of 2026 street striping, with an option to renew for two additional years at the unit prices bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informality or irregularity, and to award each item to different parties or all items to a single submitter. The City is the sole judge of compliance with specifications and may reject any incomplete or irregular bids or those that do not furnish required data.
