The University of Kentucky is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive philanthropic feasibility study in support of the proposed expansion of UK HealthCare's Albert B. Chandler Hospital. The purpose is to evaluate the feasibility of a standalone capital campaign with a preliminary working goal of $300 million. The selected firm will assess campaign goal viability, major gift capacity and pipeline strength, lead gift potential, top 100 donor analysis, corporate and foundation engagement potential, grateful patient philanthropy opportunity, internal readiness factors including staffing and structure of the UK Healthcare Philanthropy Office, risk considerations, development of a preliminary gift range chart, and development of a draft campaign timeline. Deliverables include a comprehensive written report, executive summary, gift range chart, draft campaign timeline, and a formal in-person presentation to designated University leadership in Lexington, Kentucky. All aspects of the study and services shall be performed in strict confidence, and personnel delivering the scope of work should participate in the initial presentation as part of the RFP process.
