Separate sealed bids will be received for construction of an access road for the Mountain Coaster Access Road project. The contract includes installation of approximately 1,533 linear feet of new road construction, drainage, and road base. The total completion time for each contract is specified in the Bid Proposal for that contract. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bid proposals must be submitted in accordance with the project conditions and include a certified check or bid bond payable to the owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. For contracts exceeding $10,000, compliance with federal nondiscrimination and labor laws is required. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and reduce project units if needed to stay within budget. Contract award will be made to the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder. All contracts are expected to be funded by federal grant funds.
