Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Spencer, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes the installation of 1,250 linear feet of 8-inch waterline, 2,190 linear feet of 6-inch waterline, 20 linear feet of 4-inch waterline, 340 linear feet of 2-inch SDR17 waterline, and necessary appurtenances as part of water distribution system improvements. Instructions to bidders include obtaining bidding documents from the designated issuing office, where documents are available for purchase in hard copy or digital formats. Bidders must obtain a complete set of bidding documents from the issuing office to be considered valid and responsible. Instructions for bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award appear in the "Instructions to Bidders" included in the bidding documents. Bid surety is required; incomplete or non-responsive bids or those without proper surety will be rejected. All information on the bid form must be completed and signed in ink. Compliance with federal and state laws regarding non-discrimination, wage rates, affirmative action, minority businesses, and Section 3 of HUD is mandatory. Bidders must have a proper and current general engineering contractor's license and include the license number on submitted bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work. No bid may be withdrawn for 90 days after opening.
