The project consists of the extension of Taxilane Sierra approximately 900 feet south to the existing Terminal Apron, including asphalt paving, lime-treated subgrade, pavement markings, chain link fence relocation, and other miscellaneous work. The Contractor is responsible for performing all work and furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and the drawings. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate, sealed, and delivered to the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission by the designated hour and date. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the opening. Each bidder must include a Bid Bond equal to 5% of their bid. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and hold a current Certificate of Responsibility from the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. The Certificate of Responsibility Number must be shown on the bid envelope or the electronic bid cover page. Bid documents must be purchased through the designated website. Minority and women's business enterprises are encouraged to bid and seek subcontracting opportunities. The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
