Site work for a transportation facility in Lexa, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The scope of work involves the rehabilitation of the asphalt taxiway pavement at Thompson-Robbins Airport. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Federal Davis-Bacon wages shall apply. Work will be completed within 20 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Instructions to bidders include the following: Bids must be sealed and received by the specified time to be considered. Digital copies of bid documents are available online for a fee. Addendums will be issued through the online plan holders list and bidders are responsible for downloading documents to be included in the list and submit a bid. Bidders must enter addenda numbers in the proposal to verify receipt. Disadvantaged business enterprises shall have maximum opportunity to participate. The contract is subject to the Buy American provision under Section 9129 of the Aviation Safety and Capacity Expansion Act of 1990. All required information must be supplied on the bid or proposal form. The successful bidder must submit a Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities and notify subcontractors of this requirement if the subcontract exceeds $10,000. For contracts of $50,000 or more, a contractor and qualifying subcontractors must maintain an affirmative action program within 120 days of the start of the contract. A 5% bid security is required. The owner reserves the right to reject bids and waive formalities. Bidders must have a current general license from the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board. The bid proposal and work must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. As a prerequisite to the award of contract, the AIA Document A305, Contractor's Qualification Statement, must be submitted unless already on file within the last six months. Question Deadline 04/07/2026 Any person contemplating the submission of a Bid shall have thoroughly examined all of the various parts of these Documents and, should there be any doubt as to the meaning or intent of said Contract Documents, the Bidder should request of the Engineer, in writing (received by the Engineer at least 5 working days prior to bid opening), an interpretation thereof.
