The scope of work involves the rehabilitation of the asphalt taxiway pavement at Thompson-Robbins Airport. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Federal Davis-Bacon wages shall apply. Bidders must enter addenda numbers in the proposal to verify receipt. Disadvantaged business enterprises shall have maximum opportunity to participate. The contract is subject to the Buy American provision under Section 9129 of the Aviation Safety and Capacity Expansion Act of 1990. All required information must be supplied on the bid or proposal form. The successful bidder must submit a Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities and notify subcontractors of this requirement if the subcontract exceeds $10,000. For contracts of $50,000 or more, a contractor and qualifying subcontractors must maintain an affirmative action program within 120 days of the start of the contract. A 5% bid security is required.
