Bid is Cancelled The Procurement Office, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, is requesting bids for FY26 Barnstable Police Station Detectives Wing HVAC Upgrades. The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for demolition of existing hvac equipment, removal and replacement of ceilings, Installation of new hvac equipment, Cleaning of existing ductwork, Installation of new doors and frames, windows, and louvers. Brickwork associated with new fenestration installation, minor demolition of interior finishes, alternate scopes of work. A 100% payment bond, 100% performance bond, and a 5% bid bond are required. All work must be in full compliance with Federal, State, and Municipal Laws. OSHA Certification is required. There is a 10.4% participation goal for Minority Business Enterprise and Women's Business Enterprise. General bidders must be certified by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for HVAC and provide a DCAMM certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement. Filed Sub Bidders must be certified by DCAMM for Electrical. All bids are subject to applicable Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, and other related laws. The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to waive any formalities in the best interest of the Town.
