Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Bid is cancelled. At Hyannis Transportation Center in Hyannis, MA, remove approx. 5,250 sf of existing pressure treated wood decking and replace with composite deck planks. Remove existing canopy structure assembly and install new canopy structure consisting of steel tube elements with a standing seam metal roof covering. Install electrical conduits and new lighting along the platform and new canopy structure. Prospective bidders must be prequalified per MBTA "Procedures Governing Classification & Rating of Prospective Bidders." No award will be given to contractor not MBTA-prequalified in Class 1, General Transit Const., for $1 million contract value at bid deadline and not at the pre-bid. Bidders must provide: 1. List of equipment it will use 2. Completed Bid Bond 3. List of all work in last 3 years of similar size & scope demonstrating experience & qualifications 4. List of ongoing projects and 3 references from projects listed 5. Approved FRA drug & alcohol testing plan. Contractor experience working in and around active rail line and ability to complete work in limited work window are required.
