Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Elkins, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story below grade water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
The project consists of constructing a new below-grade valve vault, installing an above-ground reduced pressure zone assembly (RPZA) in a heated enclosure, and demolishing the existing vault. Instructions to bidders include that sealed bids will be received at the office of the City of Elkins, addressed to 1874 Stokenbury Rd, Elkins, AR 72727, until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 1874 Stokenbury Rd, Elkins, AR 72727, and each bidder is limited to three personnel per organization. The successful bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interests of the City of Elkins, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids.
