Ford County Building & Grounds Department invites sealed bids from experienced and licensed mechanical contractors for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new fan-cooled units at Ford County Government Building located at 100 Gunsmoke Street, dogde City, Kansas 67801. Scope of Work includes: removal and disposal of 75 Snyder General existing units (some model numbers: WM-150B-7, WM-190C7, WM120E7, WM15CB7); installation of 75 new Adirondack Aire, Climate Master, Daikin or JCI fan-cooled units; connecting to existing chilled water/refrigerant lines and electrical systems; installation of insulation, drain piping, and controls; final commissioning and balance of airflow; define installation standards requiring compliance with local codes, SMACNA standards, and proper condensate drain management; require contractor to submit product data, shop drawings, and maintenance manuals upon completion. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid site visit to verify existing conditions. Sealed bids must be labeled appropriately and submitted to the Ford County Clerks Office by the specified deadline. Ford County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
