Repair project 2026 The work shall consist of labor, materials, and equipment necessary to rehabilitate/repair sanitary sewer manholes for ninety (90) calendar days. Rehabilitated manholes shall have no leakage when tested by the acceptable test. The majority of the work to be performed under this contract will be performed city-wide. The work shall consist of the rehabilitation/repair of wastewater manholes to correct structural defects and to reduce inflow/infiltration. It will include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform required work. Vendors may submit their bid electronically at the specified website. Contractor may request the bid package electronically. Contractors wishing to submit their bid electronically must be registered online as a potential supplier. Bidders submitting bids electronically are requested to provide the same documents as those submitting through the mail as soon as available. Only a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check shall be submitted as the bid security. Electronic copies of both the front and back of the check or bid bond shall be included with the electronic bid. Bids must be signed in accordance with prescribed regulations. A Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority authorizing the person signing the bid is required; failure to include this will result in rejection of the bid. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the Lafayette Consolidated Government, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid plus applicable alternates. The successful bidder will be required to execute performance and labor and material payment bonds in the full amount of the contract. Bids are to be submitted only on the provided form. Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest responsible and responsive bid submitted in compliance with the documents. Contractors or firms submitting bids of $50,000.00 or more must be licensed for the classification of MUNICIPAL AND PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION and show license number on the bid envelope.
