Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Foster City, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Trail acquisition, planning, and construction for the SF Bay Trail in Sonoma County. Work is currently supported by two funding sources. Once completed, this trail will be a unique and essential part of the San Francisco Bay Trail, which envisions a 550-mile shoreline trail for hiking and bicycling around the bay. Regional Parks is working with multiple partners on both the alignment between Sonoma and the Bay, and along the Highway 37 corridor. A Bay Trail connector, Sonoma Schellville Trail, is close to acquisition and follow-up grants for planning, environmental analysis, and construction are either awarded or pending. The critical pedestrian and bicycle crossing of the high-volume Highway 12/121 at 8th Street East, identified in the 2003 Bay Trail Corridor Analysis, is in partnership with Caltrans, Sonoma County Transportation Authority, Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit, and Public Infrastructure. Connections between there and other planned Bay Trail segments south of Sonoma are either in negotiation or discussion. For the Highway 37 reconstruction plans to address sea level rise, Regional Parks is working with Sonoma County Transportation Authority and numerous agencies to support Caltrans’ inclusion of the Bay Trail. This major project could complete the Bay Trail and provide access to growing regional populations that have just begun to discover the Sonoma Baylands area. This is project number 206F and a high priority in the adopted 2010 Sonoma County Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan, which also designates Regional Parks as responsible for establishing and maintaining Class 1 bikeways. This half of the Bay Trail also includes project numbers 206A, 206B, 206C, and 206E. The project is included in the County's 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 16, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
