The project consists of replacing HVAC Units with Owner Supply Units. All bids shall be on the form provided, and each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents, including the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must submit sealed bids at the specified location and time. As security for its bid, each Bidder must provide a bid bond, cash, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if awarded the contract. The successful Bidder and its subcontractors must pay all workers not less than the prevailing wage rate and comply with all registration and qualification requirements. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required; failure to attend or tardiness will render the bid ineligible. The District's Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder based on the base bid amount only, with a process that conceals the identity of Bidders from the District until the bids have been ranked. .
