Sealed bids are requested for the SR 0981 & Monastery Drive, Greensburg-Mt. Pleasant Road & Finoli Drive, Route 30 & Village/Marguerite Road resurfacing project for the Westmoreland County Department of Public Works. Bid documents, including drawings and specifications, will be available on the Westmoreland County website. Addenda will only be posted on the County's website and it is the responsibility of all bidders to verify receipt and review of all posted addenda before submitting a bid. A certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid must be enclosed with the bid documents. The bid bond for the lowest bidders will be held until the contract is awarded and the successful bidder supplies a performance bond and signs the contract. PA DOT prequalification, including for subcontractors, is required. All bids must be properly signed and submitted in duplicate, in a sealed opaque envelope, plainly marked on the outside with the bidder's name, address, and project designation. This project is subject to the requirements of Executive Order 11246 ensuring equal employment opportunity, and the minimum wage requirements as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry will apply.
