Contractor is to provide clean, neat, legal, appropriate parking lot, drive lane, and other pavement markings to all listed locations and attached drives. Cleanup at all sites is required at the end of each day or project area. Striping may be completed between June 6 and August 10, with the District providing a calendar of events and updates as needed. Appropriate site protection must be provided during the project to avoid smearing, drive over, or other disruptions during paint drying time. Contractor is responsible for painting all facilities and attached roadways identified in the map schedule, including two new facilities shown with alternative imaging. Contractors are highly recommended to visit the sites to become familiar with the district. Contractor is responsible for all repairs or damages to School District property caused by their equipment, personnel, or materials. Invoicing is only for work performed. Sealed bids are required and must be typewritten or printed, with written signatures—facsimile or typewritten signatures are not acceptable. No electronic or facsimile bids will be accepted. Bidders should include completed Iran Economic Sanctions Act form and Familial disclosure statements. Bid security or bond is not required. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason. Successful bidder must provide and maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, workers’ compensation, and, if applicable, motor vehicle liability coverage, with Caledonia Community Schools as additional insured. The District may terminate the contract if insurance is not in force.
