Project 26-17 Kingston Preserve Phase II Construction includes approximately the following quantities: 1,600 LF of new 8-inch sanitary sewer and associated appurtenances; 1,850 LF of new 8-inch water main and associated appurtenances; 2,350 LF of new storm sewer (8-inch to 30-inch) and associated appurtenances; new sanitary sewer lateral installation (4-inch); new water service installation (1-inch); new storm sewer lateral installation (6-inch); unclassified excavation; 2,900 tons of crushed aggregate base course (15-inch depth); 3,800 LF of new concrete curb and gutter; 160 SY of new concrete sidewalk (4-inch to 8-inch depth); 1,450 tons of asphaltic concrete pavement placement; and erosion control and restoration. Digital project bidding documents are available for viewing and/or downloading online. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid, payable to the City of De Pere, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute a contract and furnish a contract bond as described in the General Conditions. Instructions include payment and access instructions for project documents and submission procedures for electronic bids, along with assistance contact information for the bidding platform. The City of De Pere reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to accept any proposal deemed most favorable to the City's interest. Pre-qualification requirements: Each bidder must pre-qualify by submitting proof of responsibility on forms provided by the Director of Public Works, to be filed by the designated deadline. Bidders who have previously submitted such forms after January 1, 2026, do not need to submit again for this project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
