Provide on-call Architecture and Engineering (A&E) services for bus stop and facilities improvement projects. The selected firm will support the Agency in improving safety, accessibility, comfort, and functionality of bus stops and facilities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, including FTA, ADA, and civil rights regulations. Services will include the design of small-scale construction projects such as improvements to bus stops, upgrades to restroom facilities at existing buildings or transit centers, and similar minor facility enhancements, as well as revision, redesign, or modification of previously completed plans. Work will be conducted on an as-needed basis via task order–based contracts and will focus on advancing planning, design, permitting, and construction support, particularly with an emphasis on ADA accessibility improvements. Typical assignments utilize documentation from the 2016 Santa Fe Metropolitan Bus Stop and Sidewalk Connectivity Assessment final report. The contract is qualifications-based and compensation will be negotiated at the time of award. The contract term is anticipated to be four years, subject to funding availability. This procurement is in accordance with the Brooks Act and FTA regulations. Price proposals are not requested at the time of selection.
