Site work for a water / sewer project in Seward, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of constructing the Elm Street Water Main Replacement. The scope of work includes furnishing and installing 590 feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe water main, two 6-inch gate valves, and three 1-inch water services; setting up a temporary water system; decommissioning 240 feet of pipeline in place; maintaining traffic; restoring all affected roadways; and performing other miscellaneous work. Bids must be submitted as specified in bid documents, using the furnished forms in a sealed envelope marked accordingly. The City may select the lowest qualified, responsive, and responsible bidder and reserves sole discretion to reject any or all bids. Compliance with Alaska Title 36, applicable wage rates, and non-discrimination in all aspects of work is required. QA date - 4-6-2026 Bidder questions must be submitted to the Director of Public Works by email at doug@cityofseward.net no later than 10 calendar days before the bids are to be opened.
